Preparation for the Sacred Heart

Sacred Heart Prep in Arroyo beat Arroyo Grande 10-6 in a nonleague girls water polo game on Thursday. Ashley Penner scored two goals and assisted with three more. On Wednesday the Sacred Heart Prep girls' water polo team will play St. Ignatius in a WCAL matchup. In the previous match, SHP defeated Arroyo Grande 7-5 in the St. Francis Invitational.

Bellarmine changed its name from the original "Bellarmine College Preparatory" in 1928. Robert Cardinal, a Jesuit from the sixteenth century who was also a saint, was the school's name.
